Artist's Comments

isisio and oscar parliament, whom you haven't seen in this incarnation, actually.

he used to be this:[link] and his name used to be tobi. that changed. a lot. he's still the same character but new look and new name. also a new story. one that makes more sense. actually he didnt really have a story before, now that i think about it....

anyways, this arose out of a comment the amazing amazing *muura left on [link] about my lines. and it made me realize i hardly ever do linework on the computer. i guess its because i use contour almost exclusively in my sketchbooks and so i use the computer as an opportunity to...not use it.

so i decided to do a line drawing. and then it got coloured because i'm procrastinating working on my actual design assignments.

shiiiit i forgot about my textiles homework. fuck me. only three weeks left until thanksgiving. just hold out.....

pixia and photoshop.

recycle project fucks yeah.

Fantastic, I really enjoy the whole feeling of the piece. c:

I know I haven't commented on your work in a while, but I love it. I just remember how far you've come and I'm amazed.

One of my favorite things about your work is how you draw your characters in such an elongated fashion, and that you have such a keen eye for detail. One thing that shines through in this piece is your ability to combine varying patterns together without it appearing jumbled and busy. And you are one of the few people that can pull off such thin lines! I think the patterns have something to do with that. Anyway, it's beautiful.

Was it you that I did the "Brian" project with back in high school? Before I forget, are you on facebook?

as great as usual :) love your line style also :)

Awwww yissss
This is beautiful. The lines are so dynamic, I love the angles and the curves, and the little effective details like the buttons and zippers. The contrast of patterns againt flat areas of color (or no color) is really interesting.

Their poses are sooooo enthralling, too. It's like what in the hell are they doing, who cares, because it looks amazing.

I particularly like the guy on the right. :'D

You're welcome! I mean it.

It's possible it wasn't you I worked with on the Brian project. I also have a terrible memory and a tendency to conflate the things I do recall.

I added you on facebook and told Kota to add you too! :) It's nice to see where your deviantART ID came from. Good work!
