so, how's life? how's it going? things all alright? cool, cool. yeah, doesnt it seem like everyone's so depressed lately? it seems that way to me. how odd. maybe its the lack of snow days we've been having. maybe its the insane amount of work everyone's been getting. maybe it's because everyone's so sick alluvva sudden. who knows.

all i know is that im counting down the days till break. eighteen is the count i heard today. so very close. i'll be going to new york early on to visit colleges, and just hang out. going to parsons, FIT, and NYU...although my college counsler told me to swing by bard and vassar too...not doing that. all these colleges have been sending me mail, and i dont know what to do with the letters cause...like..they're good schools, but i dont want to go there. so...i donno. i keep them, the good ones, and maybe one day they'll come in handy.

speaking of colleges, i got into RISD for the summer. hooray! it starts the end of june, and i think it might be a six week program, so it practically decimates my summer. oh well, i hope it'll be fun. also related, SATs are march tenth and i've barely studied. whoops? i figure, take em once cold, and them take em again. i'm still debating whether or not to take ap tests. i'd probably be taking lit and spanish but i donno if i really want to...or if i need to. same with the SAT IIs...but then again i have to apply to real colleges, so i guess i'll need them.


god, did that bore you enough? haha, sorry. just, you know...junior year...it's that time and all. everything's about college or the big history paper we're writing now.

for those of you who arent in the know, the juniors at my school have to write this ten page history paper based on primary sources. i'm doing mine on comic books...probably on how the backlash against comics from parents and the government, and the CMAA and CCA, show the fears parents had about their children. i really love the topic...its a joy to research and write about. we just had to write a paragraph secondary source summary and mine's about a page haha...oh wells. at least our lit class ends soon.

oh damn. someone just asked me if i liked kpop, and it reminded me i have anime club tomorrow. we've been getting in a lot of trouble lately with our faculty advisor...so i just hope everything turns out for the best. and now i have a craving for cookies and jam, cause i baked the advisor sugar cookies and jam as an apology for when we drew all voer his boards and left it there...heh. so, yeah...gotta remember to bring my dvd in. anime club is no where near as fun as it used to be...and we havent watched anything in forever cause the stuff hasnt been working or ive forgotten or whatever..but god damn im so hungry right now! i think we might have chocolate covered strwberries in the fridge...

you know, i've been so tired lately. i've slept through all my alarms in the morning (i set two, and a third for after i take a shower), and also my like...inner alarm clock. the one that tells me when im near my house on the bus and so forth...so, that's a bit scary...

i can hear the icy water dripping off my gutter outside. its an unusually warm philly winter and the snow we've had has been pathetically badly timed. when there was no percipitation at all, it was freezing. now there is, and its 40 degrees.

actually, funy story. my mother and i went to atlanta for a cousins batmitzvah, and we went thinking "oh, south, it'll be warm". it was 30 degrees or so the whole time we were there, it even snowed a bit, and the afternoon of the morning we left, it was 60.

but we flew first class home, so it totally made up for it. also, i had the best taco of my life.



ah, well. that was long kids. im gonna go to bed now...it's late. late late late. but i wanted to write a journal for some reason. hope i get up on time tomorrow.
