i have a lot of useless things to say today, so i'm going to helpfully categorize it so you can skip anything you don't want to read.

dreams
i had a dream last night that i could fly. in my front yard, a grey sky, and an old man was there that i'd never seen before. but he saw me. and i'm not sure why, but that was very bad. he pointed at me. and yelled something.

dolphin-safe beer rings
ive been so busy. i'm always so busy. i feel like i say this all the time, but then i feel like i never do anything. like right now, i'm going nothing. nothing. i have so many ideas for drawings and stories and i just can't seem to get them out. nothing i'm drawing is looking right. my tablet has stopped working properly. i cant seem to finish my job. floundering in don juan...god. let's just stop this right here.

vanity/rebellion/tree stalking, according to mr. kennedy
anyone here dye their hair? i dyed mine green a bit ago with special effects but it didnt really work. anyone know if manic panic or punky colour is better?

skin colour
sunday is the media food and arts festival. i'm excited to go.

today i heard a kid yell at his mother because his lcd flat screen monitor was only nineteen inches
i got a new laptop. it's very nice. very very nice. still need to hook it up to a printer. and i need to get my tablet working. hurr.

this is a summer of protest
i'm thinking about volunteering at the ed rendell campaign office near me.

friends from friends':
some kid just got in a lot of trouble at radnor for doing some bad stuff, including, screaming obscenities in his assembly. ain't that a riot?

friends from around friends':
anyone know of a tailor/seamstress in the area who can teach me to sew?

and all i know is...he was into field hockey players
tony is my hero. (he rides on a bicycle like a pony).

movies
need to see science of sleep, but its only playing at the ritz and king of prussia and some other place i dont know. both of those theaters are way too far away though. red eye's coming to HBO, have it taped for tuesday. i dont particuarly want to see it, but it has lots of cillian murphy who is by far...so...so very cute. and dane cook is not cute at all, no matter what rachel and annesprog say, sorry. also, talking about movies, we get a free shotime preview this weekend which means the machinist! i've been waiting for that one for a while. and dogma, i just saw, which was good as well, made even better by the fact that alan rickman was in it. did the title of this section throw you off because it was normal? it was supposed to. i think. maybe not. i dont remember.

nothing can bring me down...
no, nothin can. not now. not obnoxious couples, nor rain on my wedding date, nor trains,  nor castillians, nor foley, nor islands, nor the dears' "summer of protest", nor sufjan stevens' "casamir pulaski day", nor gary jules cover of "mad world", nor the guardian, nor mel gibson, nor paris hilton, nor sage, nor my phone, nor belt-stealers, nor line stealers, nor quesadillas, nor geese, nor canons, nor p.e., nor the devil, nor ~ElegantDisonance even if she does steal my boot again and leave me to walk all the way across campus in one two-inch heel in front of all the rich boys playing football and then making me trip in the middle of the floor in history class, nor spears, nor physics, nor bellybuttons, nor earrings, nor psats and the national merit scholarships which i wont get but johnny will, nor the outrageous expense of cowboy boots preventing me from finishing my halloween costume, nor bees BECAUSE I'M GOING TO A BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE AND DO MAKE SAY THINK CONCERT IN ABOUT A MONTH AND HOLY FUCK IM EXCITED!.

god is not an astronaught
thought you ought to know. bye.
